Goldsite’s ion exchange high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) glycated hemoglobin analyzer GSH-60 and specific protein analyzer GPP-100, Omlipo, Aristo, and many other HbA1c testing platforms participated in the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) HbA1c traceability certification program, and successfully passed the program certification.

Previous in June, GSH-60, Aristo and GPP-100 have already certificated by the U.S. National Glycosylated Hemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP) indicating Goldsite's HbA1c assay has reached the highest international standard.

About NGSP & IFCC Certificate of Traceability

NGSP

NGSP is the highest international accreditation body for the standardization of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c). The American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) formed a subcommittee in 1993 to standardize HbA1c so that results from different laboratories (methods) could be traced to reference results from the American Diabetes Control and complications Trial (DCCT). The standardization was completed by the National Glycohemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP) Steering Committee in 1996.

IFCC

The International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and laboratory medicine (IFCC) established the HbA1c Standardization Working Group in 1995 to establish a reference system of high metrological standard for the standardization and calibration of HbA1c assays. HbA1c is reported in mmol/mol by the IFCC.
