After CBPC/ML 2026: Goldsite’s commitment to Brazil and Latin America

The 58th Brazilian Congress of Clinical Pathology / Laboratory Medicine (CBPC/ML) closed in Florianópolis on 18 September 2026. Four days at CentroSul brought together thousands of pathologists, laboratory directors, and industry partners under the theme of new frontiers of diagnosis. For Goldsite Diagnostics, Booth 129 was not a one-off appearance. It was a public statement of where we intend to grow: Brazil first, and Latin America with it.

What we bring to the laboratory

At CBPC/ML we demonstrated the platforms most relevant to Brazilian and Latin American laboratory medicine:

Assay families span CRP and inflammation markers, HbA1c, rheumatoid factors, renal markers, cardiac markers, and immunoglobulins — the daily menu of clinical pathology.

ANVISA registration: GSH-50 and GSH-60

Earlier this year, both the GSH-50 and GSH-60 HPLC HbA1c analyzers obtained registration with ANVISA (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária), Brazil’s national health regulatory agency responsible for approving medical devices and in vitro diagnostics for commercial distribution and clinical use in Brazil.

That registration is not a formality. It is the gate that allows HPLC gold-standard HbA1c to enter Brazilian laboratory workflows under national rules. Ion-exchange HPLC remains a reference separation method for glycated hemoglobin. In a country where diabetes is a major public-health burden and where Sociedade Brasileira de Diabetes uses HbA1c for diagnosis and follow-up, a chromatogram the laboratory can inspect — including awareness of common hemoglobin variants — supports more reliable glycemic metrics across public and private networks.

With ANVISA clearance for GSH-50 and GSH-60, Goldsite can partner with Brazilian laboratories and distributors on instruments and reagents that are cleared for local clinical use.

What CBPC/ML 2026 changed for us

At Booth 129 we met laboratory groups, hospital networks, and potential distributors who work in Portuguese and Spanish and who care about registration, training, and reagent continuity. The conversations that matter after a congress are the ones about validation protocols, tender requirements, and after-sales presence.

CBPC/ML reinforced three priorities for Goldsite in the region:

1. Regulatory depth in Brazil — ANVISA-registered GSH-50 and GSH-60 as the foundation for HPLC HbA1c, with POCT and protein platforms that fit mixed public–private networks.

2. Partnership, not fly-in sales — distributors and laboratory groups that own training, stock, and service in-country.

3. Growth across Latin America — using Brazil as the anchor market while extending connections in Mexico and other LATAM countries where specific proteins, HbA1c, and POCT are already in demand.

The congress is over. The work in the region is not.
